As members of CRC we are to protect the integrity of the church, which includes the Prayer Network. There are guidelines we should follow to maintain structure and order. We are asking for every CRC member, and those who make prayer requests on this platform to follow these guidelines. The bible says, "Let all things be done decently and in order" according to 1 Corinthians 14:40. In the direction of our Pastor M.I. Otano, we must strive to do all things with a Spirit of excellence. We look forward to receiving your prayer petitions, listening to your testimonies of what God has done, and sharing encouragement with other believers on the Prayer Network. Please read the Prayer Network guidelines below.
1. Offensive and rude behavior is prohibited. Responses to other's prayer requests in an offensive and rude manner is not permitted. Prayer petitions are a very sensitive matter and we want to show sensitivity to all prayer petitions.
2. Every prayer petition is significant and important to us, and to our Pastor. Please always be kind and respectful of each other, and of other's prayer petitions.
3. Teaching and instruction on how others are to pray, the types of prayers, length/duration of prayers, times of prayers, and etc...is only allowed by the Directors of the Prayer Network and/or Leadership to provide teaching and instruction, as we have been instructed by our Pastor. Instructions on Fasting including, but not limited to, calling a fast, type of fast, and duration of a fast will be given by the direction of Pastor Otano or as he delegates this to Directors/Leadership to share with others.
4. Honor the privacy of the petitioner if they choose not to share specific details, or even names in their prayer petition.
5. Administrative decisions and tasks related to the Prayer Network are the responsibility of the Directors, or as delegated to others by the Directors.
We thank everyone for your cooperation and understanding with honoring the Prayer Network guidelines.
"Take hold of my instructions; don’t let them go. Guard them, for they are the key to life."
